MBPM migration to v9

Although your e-Work / Metastorm BPM (MBPM) processes might be running happily, you may decide to upgrade them to the latest version of the platform: OpenText MBPM v9. You may want to do it for a range of reasons:

• Underlying technological infastructure (Windows Server, database server) is out of support.
• e-Work / Metastorm BPM platform is out of support.
• You want to take advantage of many of new features available in platform’s new generation.

Moving from version 5, 6 or 7 to version 9 of OpenText MBPM is not as simple as running an update. Using a set of migration tools provided by the vendor you will need to migrate all your process maps and forms together with the database. Each of those tasks has its complexities and carries different risk.

Having worked on a number of migration projects: from version 7 to 9 and from version 6 to 9, we gained a lot of invaluable experience that would help your company to migrate your processes with a minimum of effort and risk. We have experience of the latest migration tools (File Migration Assistant 9.2) which converts old scripts to C#, allowing you to immediately modify their functionality in v9.
